For employees working on international projects, we provide knowledge of UL requirements and their practical application in daily work.
We provide training for working in potentially explosive atmospheres, explaining safety requirements and how to comply with them in practice.
We strengthen understanding of European and international electrical engineering standards to ensure high quality and compliance in projects.
CAREER GROWTH STORIES
“I have a degree in programming. While studying, I worked in various stores, selling products for the home and garden, and later household appliances at an electronics store. But I realized I wanted to try something different – and I’m glad I did,” says Aivis Bikšis, who will celebrate 13 years with AE Partner in September 2026.
Aivis’ journey is a great example of how changing career paths and having the courage to start something new can take you much further than you might initially expect.
“Some of my former classmates from technical school were already working at AE Partner and told me about the positive working environment – great colleagues, warm lunches and bright, welcoming spaces. So I decided to send in my CV. A few days later, I was offered a job. At the time, I was the company’s 85th employee. Today, I’m part of a team of more than 550 people.”
Aivis started his career at AE Partner as an electrical equipment assembler. He worked in the Wire Preparation, Small Panel Assembly, Large Panel Assembly and Testing teams. Eight years ago, he joined the Project Management Department, where he progressed from a junior designer to a Project Manager for Customized Projects.
Today, Aivis is a communication bridge between production, sales, logistics, project management and customers.
Aivis’ approach to professional growth is simple:
“Nothing good comes from thinking that you are entitled to something. But for those who want to take responsibility, learn, keep moving forward and not give up, there are great opportunities to grow.”
Maybe your next career step is waiting for you where you are still a little afraid to take that first step?
Before joining AE Partner, Sigita worked for many years as a customer service specialist at a household appliance repair shop. The job was interesting, but there were hardly any opportunities for professional growth.
“I realized that something in my life had to change. Looking for a new job was how my AE Partner story began.”
Sigita was intrigued by an opening for an electrical equipment assembler. “When I sent in my CV, I wasn’t sure they would even call me. My previous experience had nothing to do with electrical assembly. But they did. And after a successful interview, I got the good news – I could join AE Partner!”
Like many of our production employees, Sigita began her journey with training at the AE Partner Academy. At first, she was nervous – would she be able to learn everything? But knowledgeable trainers, a mentor and supportive colleagues helped her settle into her new role step by step.
“After five years here, I can confidently say that I really enjoy my job – I love it! I like that the work is never monotonous, because every project is different. It is exciting to understand what the customer needs and see how their idea takes shape from the very beginning to the finished result.”
Sigita also greatly appreciates the way AE Partner cares for its people – warm lunches, opportunities to stay active, shared events, supportive colleagues and the chance to get involved are just some of the benefits that come with working here, alongside stability and security.

Before joining AE Partner, Aigars spent seven years working at a car repair shop. Eventually, he felt it was time to challenge himself and try something new.
Mechanics had always been close to his heart, so he decided to look for an opportunity in this field. After hearing positive things from friends who were already working at AE Partner, he applied for an opening as an electromechanical equipment mechanic.
Looking back on his career change, Aigars says:
“At first, I had to get used to everything – the nature of the work was very different from what I was used to. But you can learn anything, especially when you have such helpful, patient and knowledgeable colleagues around you!”
Aigars describes his everyday work as dynamic and interesting, while the working environment is well organized. And importantly, there is always room to grow.
“As a mechanic, I find all kinds of mechanisms interesting. This is the right place for me to be.”

Rainers Miezītis began his journey at AE Partner as an intern while still a student at Liepāja State Technical School. Later, while studying Mechatronics Engineering at RTU Liepāja Academy, he continued combining his studies with work. Today, Rainers continues his professional journey at AE Partner as a Project Coordinator in the Project Solutions team.
Why did you choose to stay at AE Partner after your internship?
“I was attracted by the challenges the company offered, the opportunity to gain new knowledge and continuously develop my skills. I knew I would continue studying mechatronics, and AE Partner was a place where I could immediately put what I learned at university into practice. Working on real-life projects, I was able to deepen my knowledge of electronics, electro-pneumatics, mechanics and other fields.”
Would you recommend combining work and studies to others?
“Yes! At first, it may seem impossible to combine studying with work, but you can make it work. Of course, it is a challenge – you need good time management and discipline. But I have always had support from the company and my colleagues, including with my studies.
The support during exam periods is especially valuable – the company provides paid days off. When you set yourself challenges and are willing to put in the effort, you soon realize that they are much more achievable than they seemed at first.”
